Join us for the seventh annual Arts with Heart event, which aims to showcase the talent of local artists and support the organizations of their choice. It’s the citizen supporting an artist, the artist supporting an organization, and the organization, in turn, supporting the needs of Spartanburg’s citizens.Eight artists will exhibit and sell their work, with 40% of the proceeds from each sale benefiting the artist and another 40% benefiting the organization of their choice. This year's artists and the non-profit organizations they support are: Kris Neely - SPACE Stacey Hettes - Spartanburg Humane Society Melissa Pittman - Chidren's Security Blanket Christina Ramsey - HUB-BUB Gaffney Jarrell - Community Healing Arts Elizabeth Bagwell - The Haven Isabel Forbes - Hatcher Garden Carroll Foster - Bearden-Josey Center for Breast Health Catered by Palmetto Palette Admission is free HUB-BUB has formed strong alliances with other organizations intent on improving the quality of life in Spartanburg. Together with its sister organization the Hub City Writers Project, HUB-BUB is now part of a 501-c-3 organization called HubCulture Inc., whose mission is to build community through dynamic art and ideas.
